The following list represents descriptions of our thermocouples:
PLATINUM 6% ROHODIUM / PLATINUM 30% RHODIUM
TUNGSTEN 5% RHENIUM / TUNGSTEN 26% RHENIUM
This metal thermocouple may be used at temperatures up to 4200 degrees F.
CHROMEL / CONSTANTAN
The Type E thermocouple is suitable for use at temperatures up to 1650 degrees F
TUNGSTEN / TUNGSTEN, 26% RHODIUM
IRON / CONSTANTAN
The Type J thermocouple may be used, exposed, or unexposed where there is a lack of free oxygen.
CHROMEL / ALUMEL
Due to its reliability and accuracy, Type K thermowells are used extensively for temperatures up to 2300 degrees F.
TYPE N
This nickel-based thermocouple alloy is used in high temperatures up to 2300 degrees F.
PLATINUM / PLATINUM 10-13% RHODIUM
Highest recommended operating temperature for S and R thermocouples is 2640 degrees F.
COPPER / CONSTANTAN
This thermocouple can be used in either oxidizing or reducing atmoshperes.
